The Retap Original lid for the bottles is designed and produced in Denmark. The aesthetics and touch of the lid are fine-tuned to the smallest details. Essential features are that you are able to reuse the lid and it is designed without any edges so bacteria cannot accumulate and grow. The material of the Original lid is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It's 100% safe because it is free of PVC, bisphenol A (BPA), and phthalates. The material is carefully selected due to its low environmental impact and because of its physical abilities. Most important is the fine-tuning of the elasticity. The lids need to stretch out to smoothly fit the Retap Bottle but also be solid enough, so they do not fall off. TPE is resistant to heat until 120 degrees before deforming meaning that the lids can be washed in a dishwasher. The Original lids are available in 20 different colours for the Retap Original bottles.
