The Retap standard lid for the carafe is designed and made in Denmark. The look and feel of the lid are fine-tuned down to the smallest details. One important feature is that the lid is suitable for reuse and designed without any edges so bacteria cannot accumulate and grow.
The Retap standard lid for the carafe is designed and made in Denmark. The look and feel of the lid are fine-tuned down to the smallest details. One important feature is that the lid is suitable for reuse and designed without any edges so bacteria cannot accumulate and grow. The material of the standard lid is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is 100% safe since it does not consist of PVC, bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates. The material has carefully been selected because of its low environmental impact and because it has some physical abilities. One of them is the fine-tuning of elasticity that makes it perfectly fit into the Retap Carafe. The TPE is resistant to heat until 120 degrees before deforming, which makes the lids able to be washed in a dishwasher. The standard lids are available in 6 different colours for the Retap Carafe. The colourful lids are perfect for personalising your carafe to your personal style and interior settings.
